A Mac or Windows based computer running Windows 2000, XP, Vista, or Windows 7 operating system. Hardware requirements include 400Mhz or faster processor, at least 256mb of RAM, and at least 1Gb free hard drive space.
You will need a fast and reliable internet connection (DSL, Cable Modem, etc) with at least 300Kbit uplink of bandwidth. Note: although wireless is convenient, it's not the best solution for this requirement. always plug you computer directly into the modem or router.
You can use a standard USB webcam or high-end camera that connects to a capture card. Cameras with remote pan, zoom and tilt work best. You will see all our top models using them. This is one piece of equipment you don't want to skimp on. The better the video quality, the more money you will make.
You need a microphone so you can talk to you customers. Most webcams have microphones built-in. If your webcam does not have one,make sure you purchase a good quality mic.
